size: Adaptable, Big group 10+, small group 3+ and medium 5-9
Timescale: Adaptable
Where?: Anywhere, indoors, outdoors or gym hall
What you need Wheels
Assorted stuff i.e. bottles chunks of wood cups pipe cleaners
Cardboard boxes x4 at least
Support structures i.e. chairs
Instructions: Create a ramp from boxes start at a height and try to make it mostly flat using support structures. Or use a hill.
Set the young people up at a table with assorted resources and the task to create the fastest car maybe add a wee driver.
Race cars!
Best ones are made from door stops.
